Vietnamese Man Wants a “Book Revolution” in his Country (VOA)


Summary

 A Vietnamese man hopes to raise the quality of education in his country by building “parent libraries” in rural schools. In Vietnam most schools have enough textbooks. But many poor families have few books at home and do not visit school libraries. Nguyen Quang Thach says he wants people to invest money in books for a better future.  Mr. Thach helps build libraries for up to four classes. The head of the AnDuc secondary school, Pham Duc Duong, told that Mr. Thach’s work has improved the quality of education. After Many children see the new libraries,  they will set high goals for themselves.

 ・The Vietnamese education system is 12 years in total for high school three years for junior high school four years for elementary school five years.
 ・More than 90 percent of Vietnam’s population can read and write.

My opinion

 There are many library in Japan and many people study there. I like studying in the library becouse I can concentrate it. It is important to read many books to increase one's future choices. So I think that I many libraries should be built in Vietnam.

Apples(elllo)

Apples

Summary

       Todd and Kentaro talks about Apples. Do you know how much is an apple in Japan? It depends on the season. It cost about a 100..15..450 yen per an apple. Apples have two colors, red and green. Red apples is sweet and green apples is sour. Apple Apples can be used for a variety of well.

    ・ In Aomori 452.200 tons of apples from Aomori Prefecture were shipped in 2011

My opnion

       I like apples very much too. Every winter, I give many apples because my grandmother lives in Nagano. It is sweet. Some apples are cooked. For example apple pie, apple tea. I think there is a way to eat so many apples, and apples are loved by many peoples.

Japanese Life(elllo)


Title: Japanese Life

Summary:
 Kanade talks about where she is from in Japan. She talks about why she likes it there. Her hometown is Yashima in Akita. There are a lot of mountains and you can see changing color in the fall. And there is a waterfall called “Hotonedake”,which is the best one hundred fall in Japan. So she likes her hometown.

other information:
 ・Akita is Northen Japan.  1,085,997 peple live in Akita.
 ・In Akita, "namahage" is very famous. He scare to children but he like children.

Your opinion:
 I think that Kanade’s hometown have a lot of natural view. I have never been to Akita, so I want to go to Akita. Especially I’m interested in waterfall called “Hotonedake”. I went to “Minou-ootaki” in this summer. It is very beautiful. So I think “Hotonedake” is very great waterfall.
